The purpose of the Massillon Arts Council is to encourage cultural enrichment in the greater Massillon community, working with individual artists, organizations, businesses and other groups to provide, support and promote arts activities..

Anyone who has interest in art and/or creativity is  welcome to come to these meetings. At our meetings we:
  • update you on current artistic events going on locally
  • we plan/ discuss future events
  • vote on issues that need to be addressed
  • encourage new ideas to be brought to us
Massillon Community Arts Council was formed to be an outlet to help our community grow in more creative and cultural ways.

Massillon Museum LogoAnnual Stark County Artists' Exhibition

The Massillon Museum has held this annual juried show for more than 30 years. In order to apply, you must be a present or former Stark County, Ohio, resident, or currently work in Stark County, Ohio.

The call for submissions is open through July 31, 2026.
